CMMI Level 3 Achieved

We are extremely pleased to inform you that BI joined the elite group of less than 200 global companies that are accredited for the CMMI Dev 1.3v, Level 3, published today at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). Achieving CMMI Level 3 certification under the latest version Dev 1.3, is a new milestone for BI's next higher level of maturity. This globally recognized certification is a testament of BI's commitment to consistently deliver high quality IT solution. Successful ERP Implementation

Business Integra (BI) has grown several-fold over the past decade of its existence. To streamline its back office processes and procedures, reduce overhead costs, comply with all statutory government procedures and permissions and to improve service to consultants, BI decided to automate all in-house functions such as finance, HR, sales and marketing to the extent possible through BI Conrep ERP package.

BI Conrep is an On Demand, integrated front office and back office solution, integrated to Quickbooks, online employee portals connected to ADP payroll system with adaptable business architecture and far-reaching functionality meeting demanding needs of today's organizations. BI Conrep improves all aspects of our business workflow, tracking and controlling. BI Conrep is a web based solution which increases organizational efficiency, maximizes resource utilization, facilitates team collaboration, fosters individual responsibility and productivity. BI Conrep software provides end-to-end solution for Consulting, Staffing, Recruiting and Professional Services Organizations.

New Additions to our Senior Management

Mr. Eric C. McKim, MBA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, Senior VP of Cybersecurity & CISO and Dr. George Atallah, Senior VP and Chief Strategist with the combined experience of more than 45 years.

Mr. McKim’s specialty is developing, deploying and managing information security programs, architectures, governance solutions and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance activities Services (GBS). Mr. McKim has excellent leadership skills and has served in numerous project management roles on various engagements, including his previous project serving as the Lead Information Security Architect for a roughly $3.5 billion US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Transformation program.

Dr. George Attalla worked as an Senior executive Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Strategist with more than 30 years experience in large scale/highly complex Life Cycle System of Systems, Major Complex Enterprise Infrastructure Migration/ Optimization Solutions and Governance, Business Marketing and Strategy Planning, New Business Development, and Large Scale Organizational and Business Transformation.

In addition Ms. Padma Shinde, FCA, ACWA, MBA, CPA, CMA was promoted from chief accountant in charge of accounts to VP Finance and Administration in charge of accounts, human resources and administration.

Moreover, we have new additional back office administration personnel:
Mr. Anan Balakrishnan, MBA was promoted from Sr.Accountant to Manager of the accounts department accompanied by Mr. Manish Shah as Assistant Manager Accounting  and Chaturanga Yatiwella as Accountant.

Ms. Nikita Mistry, Jackie Salazar and Priya Jingree Joined BI as HR coordinators.

New Contracts Awarded

Internal Revenue Service’s TIPPS-4 Contract

The IRS competed its first Management/Business Operations Support Services and Cyber security suite of indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, called TIPSS-4 SB, which has a 10-year period of performance and a program ceiling of $2 billion. This contract is the primary procurement vehicles for technology-related services within the Internal Revenue Service and other Treasury bureaus. BI is one of the thirty-six companies which were selected as prime contractors on this multiple award contract vehicle among the industry’s best small business companies.

Small Business Administration’s ITIM Contract

BI has been awarded the SBA headquarter GCBD modernization initiative to provide requirements, enterprise architecture, and system development support for SBA’s 8(a) and HubZone programs. This Task Order will involve a full spectrum of CMMI Level 3 agile software development, Infrastructure upgrades and IT security utilizing state-of-the-art technology standards.

New Subcontract Award

HHS Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) DECC Contract
BI is a subcontractor with GDIT (General Dynamics Information Technologies) to provide high-end staffing solutions with over 25 consultants supporting the Development Efforts Consolidation Contract (DECC) . This contract was competitively awarded to BI in August 2010 using the Enterprise System Development (ESD) IDIQ vehicle to CSC. BI will provide resources to design and development services, consolidating three groups of applications to create a SOA, enterprise and cyber security system for CMS.

Westover

Business Integra recently acquired a small business, Westover Consultants, Inc., who has been in business since 1984.Westover Consultants, provides a full range of business consulting services to include Information Technology, Conference services and Training and Technical assistance.

Westover’s current inventory of contract vehicles are:

1. Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services(GSA MOBIS)

2. Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners-3 Vehicle (CIOSP3) and

3. Advertising and Marketing Solutions (AIMS)

They also serve Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) clients through the SAMHSA-wide IDIQ, Domain IV, for training and technical assistance services. State and local clients within Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. MD, can access Westover’s services through the Montgomery County IDIQ and the  Prince George’s County Consulting and Technical Services(CATS) IDIQ.

Westover will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Business Integra.

With a $20 billion ceiling, flexible contract types and the ability to award in modular increments and incorporate performance-based features etc. made CIO-SP3 is a vehicle of choice for several Civilian and Defense agencies.
